Patient Transaction Screen – Calculating a Discount Percentage

If the cursor movement for the discount code you are using has been set to “no” for Fee, you can have MOGO calculate a percentage for you! The cursor movement would be set to “no” for Fee because you will not be using the Fee window in this case.

• Enter the discount code on the Transaction screen as usual.
• Click under the Fee column on the Transaction screen.
• Type a % (percentage symbol) under the Fee column on the Transaction screen.
• A Discount window will open, allowing you to type in the discount percentage (e.g., 5 for 5%). An Apply Discount window will open for you to select the treatment or treatments for which you would like to calculate a discount. There is also a button at the top of the screen to Select All. This will highlight all treatment on the Apply Discount screen.
• MOGO will calculate the discount percentage for you! The Amount Discount total will be shown on the bottom of the screen. If you make a mistake, just click again on the line of treatment to remove.
• Click [OK].

The discount line will appear in green on the Transaction screen. You must double click on the discount line under the code column in order to distribute the discount to line(s) of treatment.

By distributing the discount to lines of treatment, you will be able to view the Distribution Detail window at any time for future reference.
