Patient Information Screen – Assigning a Family Head
To assign a Family Head on the Patient Information screen you can either type directly into the Family Head field or select from the Family Head list by clicking on the search icon.
When you type directly into the Family Head field a list will pop up that matches your search. If the desired Family Head is on the list, select it and they will be assigned as this patient’s Family Head. If they are not on the list yet it means that a) they are a member of another Family Head’s family or b) they have to be created. If they are a member of another Family Head’s family you will not be able to assign them as Family Head. If they haven’t been created yet, you can hit Enter on your keyboard to bring up the Family Head [New Family Head] window where they can be created.

By clicking the search icon you can access the Family Head list. From the list, you can search for and select the desired Family Head or create a new record.
